The Smooth Bore Y-Circuit can be used with the Merlin, CycloFlo, Semi disposable circle and other rebreathing systems, its y piece and cap are used for leak testing, and its PVC smooth internal profile provides less surface area, resulting in reduced resistance.
This circuit is available in two different sizes, 15mm and 22mm internal diameters. Both sizes are 1.8m long. Includes blue connections which are 22mm fittings.
For patients up to 7kg, use 15mm size, and for patients 7kg-40kg, either 15mm or 22mm. 40kg and above use 22mm size.
Please note – the connectors are 22mm so not to be confused with the smooth bore for the mini lack which requires 15mm connections.
This can be used as a complete patient circuit as it includes 2 patient hoses, y-piece and cap.
Suitable for low flow anaesthesia.
